The ZXi5 + ZXi7 combination is the best of both worlds: powerful distance in the long irons and tour-validated workability in the short irons. The standard build pairs ZXi5 in the 5–7 with ZXi7 from the 8i through the pitching wedge, so the set gives you help where you need it and control where you want it. Both models are forged at Japan's premier forging house, Endo, and share the same refined players shaping and Tour V.T. Sole, so the transition through the set is seamless at address and through the turf. What changes is the face technology behind the ball – MainFrame iQ for speed in the longer clubs, PureFrame iQ for feel and control in the scoring clubs. Other combinations can be configured to suit your game.
A variable-thickness network of grooves, channels and notches is precision-milled into the back of every ZXi5 face. At impact these features flex together to maximise energy transfer, delivering more speed more consistently across the face – exactly what the long irons need.
A wider, thicker ridge of softer S15C steel is forged directly behind the sweet spot of every ZXi7 iron. AI-assisted simulation expanded this ridge precisely, stiffening the impact zone and reducing face deformation for higher MOI and an irresistibly soft, stable feel into the green.
Srixon's Tour V.T. Sole runs through the whole set, combining proprietary sole widths, bounce angles and notches. The club glides smoothly through fairway, rough and sand without losing speed, so turf interaction stays consistent from the 4 iron down to the wedge.
